Simplicity.
Love God and Love Others. Let’s not overcomplicate church. We do not have dozens of program offerings on a Sunday mornings. We have Sunday Service (concurrently with Sunday school for kids) and Refresh (a time to hang out and snack with others), and that’s it.
Family.
We value each person and treat one another as family. We strive to make our church a place where we know one another by name. We help one another with no strings attached. We encourage intergenerational interaction - a senior citizen giving a high-five to a child is encouraged!
Authenticity.
Come as you are. We believe the church is a place where you can be yourself. No one (including our pastors) is expected to be perfect, which is a huge weight off of many shoulders! However, this requires all to show grace to one another.

What Should I Expect?
HOW LONG IS A CHURCH SERVICE?
A Westlight Community Church service is about 70 minutes in length. Services begin with our worship team leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to give announcements. Then we dismiss the children to KidZone (every Sunday) and the youth to Youth Life Group (1st & 3rd Sundays). The pastor will share a 30-40 minute message. Finally, the worship team will wrap up the service with one or two songs.
THE CULTURE AT WESTLIGHT
Sunday's at Westlight are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. To give you an idea of our culture, our teaching pastor wears jeans and a plaid shirt.

Programs Offered on Sundays
While we strive to make the church experience as simple as possible by keeping our programming to the bare minimum, we recognize there is great benefit in providing age-specific ministries for minors:
KidZone (infant - 5th grade)
Youth Life Group (6th - 12th grade)
